ABOUT St. Michael MEditerranean Festival
Beaumont, TX - The St. Michael’s Syrian Dinner was first served to Beaumont in 1909. One hundred years later, the parish of St. Michael decided to start what is now the Mediterranean Festival. The Mediterranean Festival has built a solid reputation since 2009 as the premier festival event in the Southeast Texas area sharing Middle Eastern & Hellenic culture with over 7,000 attendees. Guests of all ages are treated to our family friendly environment, featuring the finest in Greek & Middle Eastern foods, pastries, church tours, a shopping bazaar, dance performances, live music, and children’s activities.
Every year, St. Michael's supports a non-profit organization in the community. In the past, we have supported Nutrition & Services, Anayat House, Gift of Life, CASA of Southeast Texas, Arc of Greater Beaumont, as well as Family Services - Women's & Children Shelter. This year we are honored to be able to make a donation from our proceeds to Indian Springs Camp-Veterans Helping Veterans and Youth. Indian Springs Camp is a special needs camp for children, veterans, and their families. In addition, they offer hunting and outdoor activities for disabled children and wounded veteran. We look forward to having you as our guest and supporting a Parish that has had a presence in Southeast Texas for over 100 years! OPA!
